Ok so… My friend’s ex girlfriend will not stop calling him from time to time. He clearly doesn’t want anything to do with her because she makes him feel like the person he’s not. Which is… MISERABLE! but…. some how he keeps landing in these webs of hers. How does he breakaway from the one girl who hurt him? Mind you, they use to live together until she left him. He wrote her poems about how his heart was broken but that didn’t seem to phase her at the time. Now she wants him back? So it seems… How does he move on with his life and handle the situation with less emotional baggage? Is there an easier way?

Has he just straight-up told her he doesn’t want contact? If not, then he should.
First change your phone numbers. All of them. If he really wants to be rid of her he needs to sever all ties. And tell her face to face that it is over and she was the one who made the decision to leave him. She needs to move on and allow him to move on. Sometimes it takes being a little harsh to people in order for them to get the obvious through their heads. She is emotional and has realized what she has lost in letting him go. She probably had her eye on another man and wanted to play that out without being a cheater. Ask her waht her motivation was for leaving the way she did. She knows he still cares deep deep down, and that is the place she is trying to reach. She is trying to get him back so she won’t feel so miserable. Good luck. Keep your head up.
