How can I get back money I loaned to my ex boyfriend?

first of all dont say fixing, it makes you sound like a hick
second of all get a job, you shouldnt have lent a highschool boyfriend that much money
Write him a letter of demand and if he ignores it, issue Summons for the amount he owes you. It probably cost you more to get your $550.00 if you involve legal ways (lawyers fees etc.)…
Small claims court is the only way, but even then it’s going to be tough.
I assume their is no reciept or contract to pay???
Your out of luck without one of those…
If you try to sue him or take him to small claims court, your throwing away more money. Without proof he can claim it didn’t happen or it was a gift. So now you would be out court fees too.

Unless you had him sign a promissory note, you don’t have sufficient proof and it will end up being your word against his.

The Money is gone, accept that..and move on.
Double or triple the figure you loaned and canvass among his friends. He is sure to cough up at least 250. No other economical way.Going legal way is a torture. I mean to you.Wish you best of luck on hard earned money.
Chalk it up to a loss this time knowing that in the future, combined with past, you will get 10000 times more money than that from all your other boyfriends and dates !
i doubt you will ever get your money back just fill it under stupid and move on it could be worse i thought some people were my friends and they stole $3,800 from me
If you’re really up to it..
Bug his friends.. his co-workers.. his family.. let everyone know he owes you money and has not paid you. Word will get to him and he might just be embarrased enough to pay up to get you off his back.
